The Protect 800 RXCarbon Pad is made with RP718 pharmaceutical
grade activated carbon and designed to not only absorb
controlled and hazardous drugs, but also deactivate many drugs
so that they cannot be extracted from the pad. The activated carbon
renders many drugs inert. The Protect 800 RXCarbon pad
also has a leak-proof layer of polypropylene backing to protect
against surface and personnel cross contamination of liquid
hazardous drugs. For use as surface protection or as
wipes for spills and general clean-up.
